This is the window display that Steph Breeze and I did. It is for a shop in Harrogate called Be Dressed and the owner Carol wanted us to create a prom themed window. Stephanie chose the dresses in the window and together we displayed them on the mannequins with jewellery to give accessorizing ideas. We used fabrics, wine glasses and balloons to decorate the window. We are both really happy with how it looks and hopefully Harrogate shoppers will be attracted to the display and go in and purchase some of the wonderful dresses!

Burberry
Everyone has heard of Burberry and would instantly recognise this British company from either an image of the ‘famous check’ or their renowned trench coat. I was able to work for the week of London Fashion Week in their amazing office down Horseferry Road in London.
In Burberry’s Spring /Summer campaigns they have Emma Watson, formally known from the Harry Potter films. In the S/S 10 collection Bailey used a lot of Fabric manipulation techniques such as folding and twisting in delightful nude and pastel shades.
In the A/W 10 collection, Bailey uses more Fabric Manipulation techniques such as ruching. The collection has military influences, which comes across with lots of exposed zips and gold buttons. Also Sheepskin with leather was used on the inside of the boots and collars of jackets.
The colour palette is very natural including earthy greens and browns.
